Engineering and Design
Our Engineering Department is committed to teaming with your engineers to reduce costs, improve product performance, and meet or exceed your delivery requirements. Our engineering team has over 25 years of experience, and excels in the design of dies, fixtures and jigs, including complicated multi-station progressive dies. Our engineers are trained in a number of CAD-CAM software packages, including Unigraphics, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD, to engineer and manufacture your parts to your specifications.
Manufacturing
In recent years we have focused on upgrading our equipment to offer you new capabilities and to manufacture existing parts better and faster. Our current capabilities include stamping (up to 400 ton), roll forming, welding, and assembly. We also are constantly investing in our associates to improve their skills and abilities, all to better serve you.
Our two manufacturing facilities, which total 74,000 square feet, allow us to offer you a number of manufacturing processes. These include:

» Sheet metal fabrication
» Bench and line assembly
We have also developed strategic alliances with key suppliers to complement our in-house capabilities. We monitor their quality and delivery performance to ensure that their performance meets your toughest standards. Our supplier alliances allow for quicker turnaround times, higher quality, and increased cost-efficiencies - benefits which are passed onto you.
Finally, Spalding Automotive offers full Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) capabilities and experience in just-in-time shipping to ensure that you get the parts you need when you need them.
